Blade Runner 2049 Concept Art Keeps Gritty Tone Despite Full CGI Makeover.

Set decades after the events of the original film, Blade Runner 2049 continues to show positive signs despite the initial fears of what the ‘untitled Blade Runner project’ might be.

With Denis Villeneuve (Arrival, Sicario, Prisoners) set to direct and the trailer due any time now after officially being rated. Blade Runner 2049 is quickly becoming one of the most anticipated films for 2017.

While the plot is being kept tightly under wraps, concept art was released earlier this year that gave insight into the visual direction which shows that the tone is certainly consistent in keeping the gritty dystopian feel of Blade Runner
