China embraces new Potterverse film. Makes amazing Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them posters for release.

Fantastic Beasts opened in China on the 25th of November doing a huge opening weekend of approximately $40 million across 11,700 screens, one of only a handful of foreign films given permission to screen in China each year. Fantastic Beasts lost out to Kimi no Na wa in its second week but remained strong at the box office amassing a total of $72.6 million over 10 days.

There is a huge growing film market in China and each year more foreign films are allowed to screen after the Chinese signed a deal to gradually open up the market to Hollywood imports. The deal helps both the U.S and China’s stagnating film industries.

With “Beasts” release pushing 2016’s quota past 38 foreign films, the country made sure they added their own stamp to the Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them Posters. And they are spectacular!

6 posters featuring Niffler, Demiguise, Occamy, Bowtruckle, Swooping Evil and Thunderbird.
