Making A Murderer Follow Up Coming To Netflix
Making A Murderer, the documentary series that had the whole world talking followed the life, arrest, trial and eventual conviction of Steven Avery and his nephew Brendan Dassey. Avery, a Manitowoc County local, was charged and convicted of the murder of Teresa Halbach. Along with 17-year-old nephew Dassey.
Executive Producer/Directors, Laura Ricciardi and Moira Demos have announced that they are currently in production on episodes that follow up on the original series. The new series will take an in depth look at the post-conviction appeals process as well as following the gruelling emotional toll it takes on all parties involved.
The whirlwind series that had the world in a collective uproar, soon turned to uncertainty after it was revealed that some critical information was left out of the series. However, earlier this year it was announced that Avery’s new lawyer Kathleen Zellner was granted an appeal in court to present new forensic evidence that she believes proves his innocence.
The new episodes will be an all access pass to Steven Avery and Brendan Dassey’s new legal teams in the fight for their convictions to be overturned. Netflix is yet to announce the release dates and number of episodes for the Making A Murderer follow up docu-series.
Will Steven Avery be proven to be wrongly convicted once again?
